The only way I know to remove it from list is to uninstall the App.I'm also not sure why it says via Microsoft Edge, as that type of entry is not usually seen on that screen. You get the detail when you click on the Entry, where you can also refine the Settings.But to remove an item from that list you'd need to uninstall it.

Actually, it is a website entry, hence the '(via Microsoft Edge)'. My daughter borrowed my work computer and visited halloween costumewebsites using Edge and accidently clicked on a prompt to receive notifications. The next day at work I started to receive odd notifications for jack-o-lanterns and other halloween accessories on sale.

Needless to say that I immediately turned off those notifications,and deleted the website from Edge permissions list, but the website stays listed in the list of 'senders' under 'Get notifications from these senders' in Windows' 'Notifications & actions'.Turning off notifications for this entry does prevent them from popping, but I was hoping a right click would reveal a 'delete' action. Unfortunately, it does not. Since it is a work computer, I do not find it appropriate to have an undesired website listedin that list with a toggle that could accidently be switched on again. By the way, I did search the Windows registry for that specific website name and deleted all the occurrences found (there were two, with one under 'ComputerHKEYCURRENTUSERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionNotificationsSettings'),but the entry does not want to disappear (I have not rebooted my machine though I will try that now and report here if it solves the issue)! Aha, that is a different type of Notification called a Push Notification which authorizes the website to send a stream of notifications to your browser.Fortunately it's almost as easy to turn them off as to accidentally choose them.

Do you have a System Restore point going back before the website was allowed to send Push Notifications?Malwarebytes has more on the infiltration of this into Edge and how it's managed in Notification Settings. I'd run a full free Malwarebytes scan to see how they treat it:Then I'd clear all cookies, history and other cache metadata from Edge:Run Disk cleanup, when it reports results choose the button for System Files, let it scan again and clean up what it finds:Finally this may be something CCleaner disk and registry cleaner can clean up, but I'd set a System Restore point first as it's not as reliable since it was sold to Avast and lost it's genius developer. There does not seem to be anything in ANY documentation related to notifications that allows you to actually REMOVE entries. Sure you can turn them off, they can be added, and they can be disabled,but there seems to be no method (including registry editing) to remove them from the actual Notifications list in Settings.Recently I saw a machine that had several 'allowed' notifications from a piece of malware that are now in the list. The machine was cleaned up, but there are a number of dubious entries on this list in Settings, and no way to remove them.Genius, Microsoft. I guess we should expect this when File Explorer can no longer even accurately search your own file system (but don't worry, it can direct you to Bing where it can autoplay videos you don't want). @CPeezyThis is a solution so you can erase those entries. It worked for me!For it to work, you need to enable 'show hidden files, folders or drives', close Microsoft Edge and restart in 'safe mode'.Go here (notification folder) and delete all files inside this folder.C:UsersyourusernameAppDataLocalMicrosoftWindowsNotificationLast go into Registry editor (type regedit) in search bar and do a search 'provider name you want to delete'.Delete all entries.
